OpenVox FA40 4 Port Analog Asterisk IP PBX Auto Switch Failover Device USB Power
Share
Overview
FA40 is a 4-port Analog Interface failover box. It can better protect the unpredictable problems that may happen to the Asterisk PBX. This device will provide an effective way to provide backup Analog lines when undesirable changes are detected on the PBX (often when power failure, internet failure, system shutdown)
The FA40 is controlled through an Asterisk loadable module res_failover.so. This module continuously sends "running" signal to the FA40 when Asterisk is running. In the event, the Asterisk goes down, or system power is cut-off, the failure of the module to send the "running" signal will automatically switch the Analog lines to the Standby telephone(s).

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
